Thyroglobulin Antibody (TgAb)

The Thyroglobulin Antibody (TgAb) test measures the presence of antibodies against thyroglobulin, a protein produced by the thyroid gland. Elevated TgAb levels may indicate autoimmune thyroid disorders such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis or Graves’ disease. This test is often used to assess thyroid function and monitor thyroid cancer recurrence.
